Debra L. Wolf, PMP
President

Debra is a PMP certified Senior Project Manager with excellent skills in the areas of strategic / thought leadership and change management with a strong focus on being customer, systems, process & results oriented. She is also in the process of acquiring Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma to Reduce Cycle Time for “Little R” projects.

Prior to her last 15 years managing IT projects in the areas of IT Outsourcing and Financial Services, Debra's previous 15 years were spent in Manufacturing, Healthcare and Retail as a Project Manager, Human Resources Manager, Office Manager and Store Manager.

This is Debra's 4th year serving as a member on the Board of Directors for the PMI Inland Empire Chapter. She has facilitated PMP Prep Exam Workshops for Communication Management and Risk Management, and expects to facilitate upcoming courses in the areas of Quality Management and Cost Management.

Kent T. Truong, PMP
Past President

Kent Truong is currently an Senior IT Project Manager for Union Bank, managing various technical initiatives.

Prior to his post at Union Bank, Kent was a Vice President and Project Support Manager for PFF Bank & Trust (currently US Bank). He manages the project support office for the Bank, providing guidance and assistance to project managers on various bank initiatives as part of the Operational Risk Management Division.

Kent obtained his BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara and earned his MBA from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He obtained his PMP certification after attending a workshop offered by PMICIE in 2004.

Kent has over 10 years of project management experience in the financial services industry.

William McDermott
Vice President, Finance

William McDermott is an Information Systems and Technology professional with extensive experience in the management of all facets of IT operations including data center operations, service desk, desk side support, and network support. Having earned a BS degree in Computer Science, and with numerous certifications, he has spent 23 years applying his knowledge to every facet of his trade including consulting, P&L management, budgeting, project management, employee relations, due diligence, transitions/integrations, and site consolidations and closures.  William has nearly 13 years of experience in Finance and Accounting with P&L portfolios ranging from $12 to $36 million per year.  He has a considerable financial background in policies and procedures, budgeting and planning, and financial analysis.

Karen Hensley, MBA, PMP
Vice President, Operations

Karen is certified PMP with an MBA from University of Phoenix focused in information management. She is currently employed at Southern California Edison in the Customer Service Business Unit developing products to enhance the customer experience.

With over 30 years of management experience in a wide range of industries from government to small business, manufacturing to service, and Fortune 50 to non-profit, Karen has been able to apply her passionately creative ability to simplify and streamline processes from supplier management to credit collections. She considers herself fortunate to have pioneered Project Office, Information Center and Development Center concepts as an employee of Lockheed Martin Data Systems. Driven to contribute to business growth through aggressive initiatives with unmatched commitment to achievement of the strategic goals and objectives of the organization, she paved the way for The Toro Company to consolidate Irrigation Division business processes with corporate.

She has been actively involved in PMI since 2006, and a member of the California Inland Empire chapter most of that time. Other volunteer activities have included leadership roles with Riverside YWCA Women of Achievement and Women’s Conference, local musical organizations and the Denver Sister City Business Conference.

Pamela Loree-Garcia
Vice President, Programs

Pamela is currently a full-time volunteer with Experience Unlimited – Corona and Inland Empire, where she serves as a member of the Board of Directors, provides computer support, and delivers workshops to support professionals in their job transition efforts.   She has over 15 years experience in IT Project Development, Business Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance, and Software Application Development.     Prior to her work with Experience Unlimited, she served as a project contractor to the United States Navy, a project consultant to Walt Disney Worldwide, and she provided project leadership for various organizations, including the County of Riverside and Automated Data Processing Inc.

Pamela has been a member of PMI since 2002.   She is also active in the chapter’s PMP prep courses, presenting as an instructor.   In addition to Pamela’s volunteer work for the chapter, she is also involved in other groups, including Speaker Coordinator for the 2009 Southland Technology Conference.    She is also a member of the Orange County chapter of PMI and IIBA.

Pamela obtained her BA in Business Administration from UC Riverside and earned her MBA from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. She obtained her PMP certification after attending a workshop offered by PMICIE in 2007.
