What is the PMI-ACP® Certification?

If you have used agile practices in your projects, or your organization is adopting an agile approach to project management and delivery, the PMI-ACP® certification may be right for you.

The PMI-ACP® recognizes knowledge of agile principles, practices and tools to support the development of applications has been increasing dramatically over the last several years. Research also demonstrates the value that agile methods can have in increasing delivery of business value and agility, improving team productivity and decreasing product defects. The PMI-ACP® is positioned to recognize and validate knowledge of this important adaptive approach.

If you have worked in an organization using agile practices to deliver project results, the PMI-ACP® can provide an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of various agile practices. The PMI-ACP® is not limited to project managers or Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential holders. All individuals with experience working on agile project teams can apply.
