Presentation Title
REACH for Project Success
Presentation Speaker
Gregg D. Richie
Presentation Abstract
REACH for Project Success is not just another project management presentation -- it's a new way of thinking about project success. This presentation will reveal why projects fail even when they follow all the "right" processes - and how to lead them to true success instead.
Built on the author's Five Diamonds™ of the REACH Framework: Risk, Engagement, Alignment, Communications, and Habits, this groundbreaking approach moves beyond traditional tools and techniques to focus on the human, behavioral, and strategic factors that determine whether a project simply finishes... or truly succeeds.
Drawing from more than four decades of real-world experience across military, corporate, and consulting environments, Gregg blends practical lessons, leadership principles, and project-tested insights into a cohesive, actionable roadmap. Each diamond of REACH represents a key dimension of project mastery:
Risk - Understanding risk as opportunity and culture, not just control.
Engagement - Building commitment and trust across every stakeholder.
Alignment - Ensuring every decision, deliverable, and direction supports the mission.
Communications - Turning information into influence and clarity into collaboration.
Habits - Sustaining excellence through consistency, reflection, and discipline.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Diagnose why some projects succeed when others stall.
- Apply REACH principles to planning, leadership, and decision-making.
- Transform teams into high-performing, purpose-driven collaborators.
- Create project cultures that value outcomes over output.
- Sustain results through habits that reinforce accountability and learning.
If you've ever felt that success means more than finishing on time and on budget, this presentation will redefine what achievement looks like in your world.
Because project success isn't accidental -- it's achieved when you REACH for it.
