Organizational Leadership: Understanding the Mission and Vision and How to Ensure Successful Change Management

Presentation Speaker

Kristina Curtiss, PMP - Project Management Specialist

Presentation Abstract

IT project management is the backbone of a successful organization. Being able to adapt to new technology enables an organization to stay relevant. To maintain change, leaders need to focus on the organization's mission and vision and how they can ensure that staff and other resources feel like they are part of the change instead of being ordered to change.

In this presentation, Kristina Curtiss will review the key elements of leading an organization through change using emotional intelligence. Learning Outcomes include:

• The organization’s mission should guide and implement change
• Successful change management requires leaders to leverage Emotional Intelligence
• Relying on what others bring to the table is pivotal to the success of an organization
• Ask the questions and HEAR the answers
