 Instead of thinking about networking as making a 
 business connection\, think about it as creating a friendship.Demonstrate 
 interest in others during networking efforts to build relationships as fri
 ends before colleagues.&nbsp\;Familiarity\, Authenticity\, Curiosity\, and
  Elasticity lead to building relationships in any setting\, establishing t
 rust&nbsp\;along the way. Network to sell yourself as a person before enga
 ging in business deals. Prioritize friendship to&nbsp\;ignite organic busi
 ness initiatives and collaborations.
 In this presentation\, Jen Fitzgera
 ld will review the key components of the FACE approach to networking start
 ing&nbsp\; each section with a story that ties into the main theme. This w
 ill be an extremely interactive and engaging presentation. Learning Outcom

 Speaker Bio
 Jen Fitzgerald's passion is building relationships and the
  people in her life give her purpose in her career by focusing on the qual
 itative perspective of building relationships. She graduated from Loyola M
 arymount University with a B.A. n Communication Studies\, a minor in Theat
 re Arts\, and a Certificate in Journalism.&nbsp\; She spent eight years wo
 rking as a regional admissions counselor in higher education admissions an
 d enrollment\, and has held positions for Virginia Commonwealth University
 \, The American University of Paris\, and Harvey Mudd College.

 is time\, she built relationships with people from different backgrounds a
 nd generations\, in various environments. She encourages people to show \"
