This 8 ½ hour virtual class consists of interactive discussions and polls, exercises, practice using Lean Six Sigma tools, Q & A and practice test questions.

A Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt participates in and supports LSS Quality Improvement projects by assisting Green and Black belts in developing process maps, gathering information, performing analysis.

As a professional with a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification you will utilize new tools and apply problem solving skills to reduce costs, eliminate waste and increase efficiency which are valuable to your employer.

Course Outline

• Background & historical significance of LSS
• Understanding the PDCA methodology
• Understanding the DMAIC methodology
• Understand which tools are typically used in each phase
• Understand the role of each LSS belt including project champions

 

You will learn about and be able to apply 25 LSS tools including these:

VOC	5 Whys
Process Maps	Fishbone Diagram/Ishikawa Chart
SIPOC	Pareto Chart
PDCA	5S
Basic statistical functions	Control Charts
