This presentation will teach unforgettable techniques to help attendees better define business objectives, create a motivating vision statement, and specify critical features and how to prioritize them. These techniques are valuable for projects in all sectors and across all development methodologies. Attendees will leave with a roadmap to project success and the confidence to launch with clarity. Learning Objectives include:
• Identify how and why to define clear business objectives
• Illustrate how to craft a focused vision statement
• Identify features to craft a Feature Tree
• Use the Business Objectives to prioritize the features identified on the feature tree

Speaker Bio

As a Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst, Betsy Stockdale defines project requirements, optimizes project scope, and ensures her team delivers successful projects. She is particularly fond of working on projects and requirements coaching, as her primary goal is to help others master the art of requirements elicitation and analysis.

Betsy brings more than 30 years of experience to her role, including experience working with The Walt Disney Company, Dell, and NASA JPL. As a result of this background, her approach is rooted in real-world experience, and she brings a high level of insight and energy to her work.
