Bhanu Viswanadha TOGAF, CDAP: Manager's Bridge to Agility
Synopsis:The presentation focusses on the journey of a Project Manager / Manager in a traditional waterfall work environment to the Agile way of executing projects.

Bhanu Viswanadha, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SASM, SA, POPM, SDP, CDA, CDAP, TOGAF, KMP1, is currently working as an IT Architect at NetApp. His previous positions include Program Manager at a major retail and healthcare company and Technical Leader at APL Ltd. While he was the PMO manager at Safeway Inc., he implemented a process for recruiting, mentoring, and motivating the Safeway project management community. Mr. Viswanadha’s other projects include delivering a training program for project manager coaching/mentoring in both waterfall and Agile methodologies. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, Cogswell University of Silicon Valley, and he is a Past President at PMI Silicon Valley. Bhanu is also a PMI-approved ATP Instructor. Bhanu has his Masters in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, and his Master of Technology in Mathematical Modeling and Simulation from University of Pune, India.
Diana Sofía Balboa Coronado and Sergio Vásquez Kaufmann: Leading an International Program to Success During a Pandemic.
Synopsis: The Academy of English for Project Management program had been planned over many months with all of the details worked out for a successful go-live when the pandemic struck Peru. Our speakers will discuss how they adapted to the current global crisis and succeeded in creating an incredible program that barely resembled the original plan with minimal disruption. Participants will learn techniques for leading teams through change and keeping team members motivated through uncertainty.
Speaker Bios:
Sergio Vásquez Kaufmann, PMP, PSM I, CSPO, DevOps Master, ITIL – Sergio has his Master in Project Management with an emphasis on IT engineering. Bilingual with fluency in Spanish and English, Sergio serves as the manager of the PMI Lima Peru Chapter Academy for English program bringing together over a hundred Chapter members with English coaches from around the globe. With more than 20 years of experience in development and implementation of banking applications, Sergio also has experience in retail and telecommunications industries. In addition, Sergio has extensive experience leading international projects and IT teams having worked in Peru, Chile, Germany, and Ecuador.
Diana Sofía Balboa Coronado, MBA, PMP – Diana has her MBA and is certified as PMP, CRM, and CSM with more than 10 years of experience in strategic planning and management of multidisciplinary projects across different industries. She is the founding Partner of BIVRA, a company that develops educational games with learning objectives linked mainly to the business environment, and has developed the board game: "EarnValue®: The Art of Managing Projects" as well as the card game: "BreakingDown® Divide and Conquer."
Sofia is also a researcher on the improvement of learning through Game Thinking and Storytelling and the designer of several Serious Games focused on learning project management. She also serves Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the San Ignacio de Loyola University and Speaker at International Congresses of Project Management in Uruguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Peru. In addition, Diana is currently the Vice President of Education for the PMI Lima Peru Chapter.
