Presentation Title: Time is no longer money, energy is!   Discovering the Wisdom of Martial Arts in Balancing our Energy

Presented by: Amin Leiman

PDU Category: 2 PDUs Leadership

In this session, we will cover human energy management using the Karate Project Management Guide. In the Harvard Business Review’s “Manage Your Energy, Not Your Time article: The core problem with working longer hours is that time is a finite resource. Energy is a different story. Defined in physics as the capacity to work, energy comes from four main wellsprings in human beings: the body, emotions, mind, and spirit. In each, energy can be systematically expanded and regularly renewed by establishing specific rituals—behaviors that are intentionally practiced and precisely scheduled, with the goal of making them unconscious and automatic as quickly as possible.”

Attendees’ learning outcomes are: 1) Realization that it isn’t all that hard and   2)  Gaining familiarity with some tools to help you do it. Please come and learn how to control your future.
