Learn about a dozen all too common project management practices, and how to make sure they're not used in a 'dumb' way on your project, and what to do instead. Ken Hanley specializes in program and project management. He has worked for several major corporations including Eastman Kodak, Gulf Canada Resources, and PanCanadian Petroleum. Ken has extensive experience in information systems strategy and deployment, business process re-engineering and capital project planning in several industry areas ranging from technology to oil and gas, to mining and health care.
Ken has also worked for national, state, and provincial governments, and with educational institutions. His specialties are project and portfolio planning, alignment, and risk reduction. He has also had considerable success in project intervention for troubled projects and working with and mentoring project managers on difficult projects in several industries. Dr. Ray Seraile is an award-winning Project Manager in the public sector with over a dozen years of experience in Technology Project Management. He has Proven expertise in project management, strategic planning, risk and change management, and the application of industry-standard methodologies in both on-premises and cloud environments. He has a strong ability to lead enterprise teams, establish long-term visions and goals, and drive the successful implementation of complex business applications in a production environment.
Dr. Ray's dynamic life has included military service, professional athletics, entrepreneurship, and project management. He currently serves as a Business Systems Analyst for the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health, where he works on positive impactful projects that help others, and is proficient in liaising with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, business operations, and third-party vendors. He has also published research and is eager to share his leadership philosophy in his upcoming book, The Assistant Janitor. Dr. Ray currenty resides in San Jacinto, CA.
