This presentation will cover how Disciplined Agile (DA) fits within the framework of enterprise project management to assist project managers in delivering highly successful project outcomes.
DA is a process-decision toolkit that provides straightforward guidance to help people, teams, and organizations to streamline their processes in a context-sensitive manner. We will discuss the DA toolkit and content which is organized into 4 architectural views: Mindset, People, Practices, and Flow.
Mindset – Addresses what it means to be agile/lean The People view describes Roles & Responsibilities as well as various strategies for organizing teams Flow addresses lifecycles and workflows/process flows Practices includes strategies and procedures
About our Speaker:
Bill Parris is the Principal Technology Program Manager for the San Diego Association of Government(SANDAG). SANDAG is a joint powers authority setting and implementing regional policy across such diverse areas as transportation, housing, criminal justice information systems and economic research, In his current role, Bill is responsible for managing the enterprise technology PMO and leading the Information Technology governance initiative. Bill has volunteered with PMICIE for the last 6 years and has served as President of the Chapter since 2016.
