Presentation Abstract:

When we speak to someone we are most often crystal clear with what we mean to say in our head yet have a lot of unspoken data that supports the content of what we are communicating. This is just as true for the person we are speaking to; they are crystal clear about their intent on the subject, but also have unspoken information that validates their view.

Learning to communicate effectively means learning to give context to your communications that others can understand. Those that are self-aware bring to the conversation a higher ability to effectively communicate their thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

Speaker Biography:

Leisa Reid is a speaker for Productive Learning, a unique professional and personal development company that was founded in 1992. She educates over 100 groups a year as a guest speaker throughout Southern California.

Leisa teaches the Basic Model of Human Behavior and gives her audiences experiences of how their own thinking directly relates to their success. Through her love of collaborating with others and speaking, she founded the OC Speakers Network, an organization that supports others who wish to share their expertise through a speaking platform.
