Overview

We will introduce how and when to document the risks and opportunities of a project, how to perform qualitative and quantitative risk and opportunity analysis, and how to manage R & O as a vital part of project management.

 

 Speaker Biography:

Alison Merino is a Software Project Manager, experienced in using both Waterfall and Agile software development methods. She started her career as a software engineer, and in her subsequent 17 years at Raytheon, she and her teams produced security systems, anti-tamper, RADAR systems, and other technology. She has worked all phases of project lifecycle, from proposals through development, sell-off and delivery. She has certifications in Project Management, Earned Value, and Agile, and is an acknowledged expert in using Agile with Earned Value.

Alison has recently returned from a 3-year sabbatical traveling the world, primarily in South America. She lives in the mountain town of Big Bear Lake, California, where she is a part time ski instructor during the winter.
