Adriana Miranda - Director of Operations

I’ve lived on SoCal most of my life. Married with three kids. I volunteer with AYSO as a referee and teams coordinator. My last job was in quality and recently graduated with a master’s in quality assurance.

   

Erick Rivera - Director of Marketing

I attended and finished a course in project management and after not being able to find employment as a project manager I decided to take a step back from my career and began to seek out a volunteering opportunity through PMICIE. Now I am ready to professionally develop my career and hope to gain more experience as a project manager.

 JC Valenzuela  

Juan Carlos (JC) Valenzuela – Director of Marketing.

JC currently works at Prime Healthcare as a Project Analyst Coordinator. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, San Bernardino. He majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. JC developed his career in healthcare with a foundation in Chino Valley Medical Center for seven years, upon which he was referred to a position as Administrative Assistant to the CIO, shortly thereafter being promoted to his current role in the PMO. He is on a path to achieve the PMP. He has a strong suit in networking and professional development, as well as experience with college outreach and native marketing. JC strives to bring harmony and efficiency to all teams and projects he partakes in.

Alban Nganbou - Director of Operations

Skilled and experienced professional with 20+ years’ experience in project and organizational management, business analysis, and IT specialist services where he exceled in entrepreneurship across 30+ countries including the U.S. Alban is a certified PBA, PMP, MCP after his studies at UCI, fluent in English and French, passionate of soccer, hiking, and beach. Over the past 3 years, in his personal commitment as community change maker, he has offered his expertise with 20+ organizations nationwide in various industries including PMI Sacramento Valley Chapter, American Red Cross, Justice Impact Alliance and Catchafire, implementing Process Improvement, Organizational Culture, Cross-Functional Management, Leadership Excellence, IT support, and Coaching professionals in diversity. His achievements have promoted sustainability in communities with inclusion and diversity, and output funds savings ($ 80K+) in organizations to support projects and impact lives in the need of resources.

It's about time that I contribute to this group that I have received so many benefits from over the last four years. I am a well-rounded analyst, technical writer, and project manager with experience as an instructor and instructional designer, currently learning about workforce development and expanding data analytics skills. My prior experience has been in real property, environmental and land use planning, and GIS. I am a life-long learner, enjoy mentoring others, and provide an outstanding level of customer service.

Jacob Oroks - Director of Operations

I am an innovative and motivated information technology project management professional in client relations and project and program management. I am skilled in cross-functional communication, building relationships, and managing and tracking projects; I hope to be an asset to any organization. I can work independently and collaboratively to complete project-related tasks and operate effective management systems. In addition to my direct project management experience, I worked as an educator, a trainer, an advocate, which demanded skills such as, but not limited to, multitasking, task delegation, time management, prioritization, and teaching. I hold a Master of Science Degree in information systems management, and I am currently working on several projects under the Iboto Empire. I consider myself and have been told by others to be highly teachable. Each organization is different and have their preferences and standards. I am open to new ideas, systems, programs and always ready to pull other work ends.

I'm a certified project management professional with over 11 years of experience leading and managing projects across various business domains. I'm passionate about project management and enjoy tackling new challenges and learning opportunities.
I have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining a high level of quality. I am a Telecommunications Manager for a small not for profit electrical utility, my main focus is on building internet infrastructure to our subscribers. I am in graduate school for information technology project management, going into what I hope is my last semester. My time is limited between work and school but I would like to help where I can and after I graduate will have more time for volunteering.

I am an MD, MBA, MPH, and PMP with work-life experience in 3 different countries, and the USA is my fourth new country.

I'm a marketing analyst. As a data analyst, I extract valuable information from large datasets both from ad campaigns.
I received my MBA from UCLA and prior to that I was in the Air Force as an intelligence officer and an acquisitions project manager. I also recently completed my Project Management Certificate, and am always looking for data projects related to entertainment and/or diversity and inclusion. Hello, My name is Spandana Anumalasetty, Construction Project Manager by profession.
I feel overwhelmed to express my interest to volunteer with the team and below is a short bio about myself -

-With an overall experience of 2+ years in project management, I have a broad knowledge of project management skills with emphasis on scope, cost and schedule management.
- I posses my Masters degree in Advanced Construction Management from National Institute of Construction Management and Research, India and a Civil Engineering graduate from India.
- I am a keen individual who takes ownership of any challenging tasks and highly result oriented.
- I am a detail oriented person and have an excellent eye for every single detail.
- Volunteering, leading the team, organizing activities are few of my project management strengths that I figured out during my work experience.
- Numbers are of a great interest to me and playing with Excel and data gives me excitement to solve and perform data analysis.
- Lastly, I moved to California recently, about 08 months ago, and looking forward for this exciting opportunity of volunteering with PMICIE.

 Mary Franklin  

Mary Franklin - Director of Operations

Mary’s career spans over 30 years with experience is in the field of Project Management, Product Release Management and Business Operations Development across financial services, broadcasting, medical and technology solutions industries. Her core strengths are in business, project management, operations development, strategic and tactical planning, problem resolution, quality assurance, product release and communication. Her project revenues have ranged from ten thousand to twenty-million-dollar budgets, managing two to three employees up to two hundred technical and operational administrative resources. Mary’s main focus the last 15 years has been overseeing Managed Services PMO department development, process improvements, client on-boarding projects in additional to oversees the Managed Services division’s customer advocacy program to ensure high quality customer care standards are delivered to clients.

On a personal note, Mary is the 5th daughter of 6 children. She was born and lives in southern California. In addition to enjoying her family she likes ocean cruises, palates, sewing and adores her friends.  She is known to have gone sky diving a few times, parasailing, taken 26 mile bike rides on the coast, hikes, will support any friend participating in philanthropic activities for children, claims to be willing to try almost anything “once” and often wears a hat just for fun.

My name is Brian Summons and I am a management-level project management professional, combat veteran, and USC alumnus who has a passion for leading impactful technology project teams. As a seasoned leader and polished communicator; I bring over fifteen years of experience leading cross functional technology initiatives and I have been a PMI member since 2012. I thrive in fast-paced environments and have a wealth of experience utilizing predictive, iterative, incremental, and agile methodologies. I am looking forward to serving the PMICIE community!

While I recently moved from ND to CA, I am still teaching PM and OM classes at Minnesota State University Moorhead remotely. I have been with MSUM for seven years serving as a faculty member for four years and as Dean of the College of Business, Analytics, and Communication for three. Prior to my academic career, I spent twelve years as the CRM Practice Manager, Principle Consultant, and Co-Founder of a Microsoft partner organization named Summit Group Software where we employed 45 employees across 7 different states in four different offices. Prior to starting Summit Group, I spent five years as a consultant and global business strategist at Microsoft. I am married, have three daughters (28, 21, and 5), and enjoy doing triathlons.

Kenworth Budd is an accomplished Telecommunications professional with 10+ years of experience in Wireless Carrier network infrastructure. He has worked in both Engineering and Development departments supporting and leading wireless communications networks. The ability to work with cross-functional teams within an organization to help eliminate roadblocks and provide clarity.
Holds an undergraduate degree in Telecommunications Management, an MBA, and a Project Management Graduate Certificate from Keller Graduate School of Management. A Certified Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert and Certified Project Manager.

Hello -

My name is Professor Kevin Reilly and I am a Project Management and Agile instructor renowned for my comprehensive approach to teaching and commitment to student success. I possess 12+ years of experience guiding business professionals through General Business and Leadership, PMI Exam Prep Training, and General Agile Courses. With over 25+ years of experience in the Software Development and IT sectors, I served as a Waterfall Project Manager, Agile Project Manager, and Agile Scrum Master.

Volunteerism is another hallmark of my career. I have been a member of PMI and all five PMI chapters in Southern California since 2010. I have also been a keynote and special event speaker for all five Chapters and around the U.S., and have spoken at Annual Conferences and Professional Development Days for chapters across the U.S. Following are the volunteer roles I have held for Southern California PMI Chapters:

• 2020 – 2023 PMI San Diego Chapter – Deputy V.P. of Programs, Speakers Bureau Director, Annual Conference Speaker Captain, Annual Conference Committee Member

Volunteers - How Much Time

  • Volunteer opportunities range from short-term commitments of a few hours to long-term committee lead roles.
  • For example, the volunteers at the registration tables before the Chapter meetings are on duty for a few hours, while members of the Board of Directors make a long term commitment.
  • The Chapter has many opportunities available.

Volunteer Benefits and Opportunities

  • The PMICIE Inland Empire Chapter is a non-profit organization staffed completely by volunteer members just like you.
