Presentation Title
Organizational Leadership: Understanding the Mission and Vision and How to Ensure Successful Change Management
Presentation Speaker
Kristina Curtiss, PMP - Project Management Specialist
Presentation Abstract
IT project management is the backbone of a successful organization. Being able to adapt to new technology enables an organization to stay relevant. To maintain change, leaders need to focus on the organization's mission and vision and how they can ensure that staff and other resources feel like they are part of the change instead of being ordered to change.
In this presentation, Kristina Curtiss will review the key elements of leading an organization through change using emotional intelligence. Learning Outcomes include:
• Networking is most successful when we sell ourselves as people before collaborating as business
partners.
• It's critical to get to know people for who they are – not what they can do for you – by becoming friends before
colleagues.
• Building relationships through Demonstrated Interest is the foundation of efective networking.
